God Can Do a Lot With a Little!
by Tonja Taylor

And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.--Job 8:7, AMPC

Who [with reason] despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. [These seven] are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.--Zechariah 4:10, AMPC

Everything--including you and me!--starts with a seed.

Jesus Himself was (the ultimate!) Seed, sown by the Father to die on the cross for all humanity for all time, that we may go free and have a Heavenly life on earth in relationship with Him, then go to be with Christ and the Father forever when our bodies die! Hallelujah!

And in your Seed [Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.--Genesis 22:18, AMPC

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? 10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. 12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.--John 6:9-13, KJV

When someone needs a miracle, it's Jesus to the rescue!

Truly, what we have in ourselves is nothing, and we are nothing in ourselves--but in Christ, we are precious and priceless to Him, and He is our loving Father Who loves to do miracles for us! Just like when our little children (even teens and grown kids!) do the smallest thing to honor us or help others or do good in some way, it is thrilling to us, and we want to add to that; multiply it; help!

In the Word, Jesus compares both our faith and the Kingdom of God as a mustard seed, which is tiny, but which can grow exponentially huge! Hallelujah!

He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.--Matthew 17:20

So, while the lying enemy often tries to discourage us from doing good, by telling us that what we're doing is not working, and/or God is not pleased with our efforts and they are not working, etc., etc., ad nauseum, then know the truth: God loves our hearts to honor Him; spread the wealth of His Word to others so they can know Him and be free and have a wonderful life on earth and go to be with Him forever in Heaven when they receive Him as Savior and LORD when their bodies die; and  will lovingly multiply even our smallest sincere effort to reach others and bring Him glory!

Hallelujah! We serve the good, good Father God! He is for us, and He will help us!

So ask Him what "little" thing you can do to honor Him and expand His Kingdom. He willl take your "natural" and put His "super" on it--and you'll get credit in Heaven, and often, a harvest here on earth!

Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and  render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.--Revelation 22:12, AMPC
