A Dirty Birth?
by Olawale Ogunsola

It is a known truth that the Creator of Heaven and the Earth is the Initiator of marriage. One of the reasons behind this is multiplication. God wants His creatures to multiply bringing seeds after their kind.

This includes humanity.

This means that the right way for mankind to multiply is by marriage. This is the most divinely and socially acceptable.

On the other hand, since the fall of man and subsequent elimination from the Garden of Eden, distortion has been introduced to the multiplication of humanity.

There are so many ways of bringing forth children into the world, acceptably or otherwise, This affects many children because they are stigmatized by society thus creating an inferiority complex in such children. This ought not to be so.
Do you know that it is not the fault of the child to have come through such a birth? It was not the child who influenced his parents to act the way they have done. He had no contribution to his birth, why should he bear the brunt of what he was not part of for the rest of his life?

If you are a "victim" of A Dirty Birth, or you have a child near you who is, I have some words of encouragement for you. Do not brood over what has happened that is irreversible indefinitely. Put a stop to it today and repackage or rebrand your life for fruitfulness.

Do not forget that Someone sent you into the world to accomplish a mission for Him. This should be uppermost to you. This on this. Plan for its fulfillment. Take steps towards its accomplishment. With your God, you can fulfill your destiny.
The case of a great man of valor will ginger you into action.

Who is he?

The Scriptures reveal, Judges 11:1-2
[1]Now Jephthah of Gilead was a great warrior. He was the son of Gilead, but his mother was a prostitute.
[2]Gilead’s wife also had several sons, and when these half-brothers grew up, they chased Jephthah off the land. “You will not get any of our father’s inheritance,” they said, “for you are the son of a prostitute.” New Living Translation (NLT).

With this little introduction, there is no doubt that you know that Jephthah's birth is "dirty" as a son of a harlot. Chei! Is this not enough for him to carry the stigma throughout his life? This man refused to do so as he took his destiny in his hand and give it to God to be fulfilled.

Can you see the society's response to that effect? He was driven away from his father's house. Do you say he ran away? Yes! Why did he do so?

Stigmatism and victimization led to it.

With God on his side and his strong determination, he became the head of his father's house. With God, all things are possible. Wake up today! Determine to achieve what the Lord your God has sent you here to achieve for Him. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
