Efficacy Of Love 4
by Olawale Ogunsola

Love is the cord that unites and sustains every relationship. This can be between man and God, and between man and an. In the previous write-ups, it has been proven that God is love, (1 John 4:16). Love is evidence that God dwells in man. He who demonstrates love proves that he knows God and He dwells in him, (1 John 4:16).

Since the beginning of creation, God never seizes to demonstrate His unfailing love to humanity. For instance, He provided all that man would need before He created them. Without the first man, Adam, asking for a wife, God provided one, Eve. He did this out of His sincere love for the man.

Not only that, this show of love continued after mankind has fallen out of grace by disobeying the instructions of God. He prepared durable clothes for them after they were driven out of the Garden of Eden.
When the sins of the people in the world became greatly increasing daily, God sought a way out by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ for the whole world to redeem whoever believes in Him.

The only Son Jesus Christ, makes it known that He loves mankind as His Father does. God loves Him because He was obedient to the will of, the Father.
"10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father." John.

Do you know that the Son of God did not fail to demonstrate His love by making Himself a sacrifice for the sins of people? He declares,
15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." John.

Can you see the efficacy of love at play? Love has the great ability to turn things around for the better. It brings positive results. Love pays prices to reap rewards. Love makes necessary sacrifices to bring about reconciliation and sustain a relationship.

Since the Lord has paid the supreme price for the sins of the world, many enemies of God have become vessels of honor in the hands of God. They have become friends of the only Son, Jesus Christ, who takes them to His Father for restoration.

My beloved reader, have you been a beneficiary of this love? Have you been reconciled to the Lord? It is very important to do so because you came from Him, He is Alpha, and you will go back to Him one day, He is the Omega. Is it, not wisdom if you navigate the Sea of Life together with Him to have a successful end of life? Jesus says He is your friend. Only do what He instructs you to do.

Therefore,
1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner who cannot help himself.
2. Believe in the sacrificial death of Jesus as your substitute on the cross of Calvary.
3. Confess all your sins to Him and ask for forgiveness. He will abundantly pardon you.
4. Invite Jesus Christ into your heart and be the Lord of your life forever.
5. Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible and meditate on it daily for growth.
6. Do not hesitate to join an assembly of God's people where reading and applying the Word of God is sacrosanct for fellowship.

Have you been reconciled with the Lord? Continue to obey Him as your best friend and it shall be well with you. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
