Next Step
by Olawale Ogunsola

In the race of life, everyone who is serious has a desire to be somewhere at different times. That is, make progress. On the other hand, sometimes, stagnation sets in. This state is hated by everybody having a destination to reach in a time frame.

For many reasons, your God may decide to put you on hold for your advantage but you may not know. The seeming stagnation may be for security purposes that you never considered but are needed.

The Psalmist of Israel understands this and counsels thus,
"27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm.

Trust in the Lord and you be able to take courage. Hope will rise in you and the God Whom you trust will give strength to your heart wait and watch what He has in store for you. He has nothing but the best for you and He will release it to you at the right time, place, and way.

Do you always think you have done all within your power and things do not go in the right direction? Apostle Paul also encourages you like the Psalmist,
"10:36 For ye need patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise". Hebrews.

The next step to take after you have done all you know to do is the step of waiting. You may not see it as a step but it is! After the time of waiting on the Lord, your desire will be fully met and testimonies will fill your mouth. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
