However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].--John 16:7, AMPC

I had to go to the chiropractor again yesterday--because, once again, I operated in pride and hurt my back. I did not want to wait till my husband got home to help me lift heavy things, because I was helping my very disabled, 81-year-old Mom clean and sort and purge, and there were many things to throw away. 

I should have waited till my earthly helper--my dear husband--got home.  (He is eager to help me, and excellent at it. He is amazing!)

Another example is that, years ago, I was frustrated trying to do something. The LORD said kindly, "I'll always help you, if you just ask Me!"

I've been asking Him a lot more often for help, and life has been much better!

However, sometimes, like yesterday (and many days before, for this purging and reordering process has been ongoing for several weeks, as we work through 50 years of stuff), I forget to humble myself and ask for help.

Ouch!

We often try to do things ourselves, and it's hard. Pride in us tries to keep us from asking for help. However, The LORD has provided the best Help of all, through the dear Holy Spirit--Who is available and eager to come to our aid, 24/7! Hallelujah!

⁷ For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.--Isaiah 50:7, AMPC

The shortest prayer (and often, the most effective) prayer in the world is "Help, LORD!"

Truly, even before we cry, He is faithful to answer! He is the perfect Father, and His ears are ever attuned to even our sincere whispered prayers! Hallelujah! 

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.--Isaiah 41:10, AMPC

When we call on the LORD for help, we can be assured that He hears and answers. The answer may be different than we expect, but our Daddy God (when we have received His Son, Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, the only true Savior, as our LORD and Savior, by faith in His blood shed at the cross to cleanse us from our sins!) to always help us out. He is perfect Love (I John 4:8), and forever faithful! 

Hallelujah! 

He cares about every detail of our lives, and as I've delightfully discovered, nothing is too small to ask for His help, when we truly need it.
