Snuggle
by PamFord Davis

I’m a snuggler. No, not smuggler; I like to snuggle up close!

My children and grandchildren were favorite snuggle partners. Snuggling came easily when reading to them or at nap time and sleepovers. They had no idea that they were helping me to make memories. My children are now in their 50’s and my oldest grandson has passed the 30 mark. I cherish those memorable times of snuggling up close.

God wants my snuggles; He draws me close.

The Psalmist knew…

“How happy is the one You choose
and bring near to live in Your courts!
We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
the holiness of Your temple (Psalm 65:4 HCSB).”

“The Lord is near all who call out to Him,
all who call out to Him with integrity (Psalm 145:18 HCSB).”

‘If you’re not as close to God as you once were… Guess who moved?’ (Quote: source unknown)

Move up close; snuggle with the Savior.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8a HCSB).”
