ANCIENT MESSAGE FROM LOT'S WIFE (Perfected)
by linzy bruno

Sometimes when contemplating the Rapture, Lot’s wife comes to mind (Genesis 19:26). After all, she was escaping danger by God’s Commission, and foolishly looked back; indicating to us the ominously unfortunate and hasty decision of choosing people over God and obedience to His Commands; particularly the first that we love Him more than we love Him First and Foremost.

Now is the time to look back to our unsaved kids and other lost loved ones with a declaration of Truth; not allowing that risk of their rejection to be a factor, by placing the LORD and devotion to Him above all else, even our own family's approval of us. See Matthew 12:46-50. We all need to heed Jesus' warning not to wait until it's too late.

God has planned for the change of our bodies from human to supernatural in the twinkling of the eye, but the lesson through what happened to Lot's wife paints the ominous picture of what will happen to those choosing people over God now. In His Great Mercy, we won’t even have the chance to look back, but the idea is to not wait.

Jesus did reference Lot’s wife in a statement He made to His Disciples regarding the Jews’ at the commencement of Jacob’s Trouble in Luke 17:25-32, but it is also applicable for the gentile Rapture, as the Rapture happens just prior to that time period.

We know that the change in our bodies will happen in the twinkling of an eye, as the Apostle Paul has declared in 1Corinthians 15:51a—

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

That whole passage on the Rapture:

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1Corinthians 15:50-54)

Furthermore, Paul describes the Rapture experientially in 1Thessalonians 4:13-17

“ But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1Thessalonians 4:13-17)

In both of these thrilling Rapture passages, Paul explains that Jesus will take those believers who have died first; using terminology it's too bad we would use today—“We shall not all sleep,” and “those who sleep in Jesus.”

And then, Jesus will Rapture those believers who remain; calling us up to the clouds to meet Him in the air and we will be with Him forever.

In His Great Mercy, our snatching away will occur in a nanosecond, so that we have no time to be scared, think about our unsaved loved ones, our pets, the boiling pot on the stove, the running bathtub or anything else that would keep us from the most miraculous, stupendous moment of all time!

HOWEVER, the warning is for those who love people and/or this world MORE than GOD!

For those of us who love Him more than any person, place or thing, we have no need of warning, for we will be taken! He will come at the exact right time and we will be with HIM FOREVERMORE!
