by Anastasia Floyd PSALMS 34: 19 Many evils confront the consistently righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. SUMMARY: When evangelizing please make sure that you let the person know that the Christian walk will not be a walk in the park. Let them know that once they give their lives to Christ the Devil and all of Hell will be coming after them. Mainly let them know that because they are in Christ that Jesus will help them fight all of their battles and that if they remain faithful they will defeat the devil on every side. Too many are being ushered into the Kingdom with Rose colored glasses on thinking that everyone in the church is Godly and will behave like Jesus. Then they run into some carnal saints and get hurt and they leave the church. They need to know up front not everybody that comes to service is saved. They need to know upfront that if they really choose to live holy they are going to be faced with opposition. They need to base their decision to serve God and come to church on their love for Jesus not in the behavior they see in people around them in church. PRAYER: Father God give every new believer a supernatural love for you and for your people. Prepare their hearts for any persecution and any trial the enemy will send their way. Let them base their decisions on what your Word says and not on what they see or hear in the church that is contrary to your word. Let every new believer be fruit that will last. In Jesus name. Amen.
