God Restores Our Life
by Jamie Reid

Psalm 71:20 (Amplified Version), "Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up."

We could say that Job in the Bible had seen many troubles. He lost almost everything, but it was God who restored Him in the end. King David saw a host of troubles from the time he was a young boy facing giants to later committing adultery in his adulthood, but God never left Him. Apostle Paul started out persecuting Christians then became a changed man and was later persecuted for his faith in Christ, and God was still with him.

We've all seen troubles whether it's close to home or at work or in our neighborhoods. Sometimes it seems as though we can't ever escape them, but God is a big God and will always lead His people to restoration. He's the only One who has the power to bring us up and out and turn our bad situations into good. Isn't that something? He can change what once wanted to beat us down and maybe even destroy us and use it later glorify Him. Now that's a big God!

If you're at your lowest point, don't give up hope. There's a big God watching over you and your life right now. He's not going anywhere and He's the One who can lift you up and bring you into a bigger place of restoration and healing! Cling to Him and His Word over your life today.
