The Blessings of a father
by boatrocker Gilmore My child listen to these simple rules. And may God's blessings overtake you at school. Shine your light and love wherever you go. Share your blessings to all that you know. Spread joy in the classrooms and the halls. Keep your continence cheerful and stand tall. May the peace of God be upon you To give to those who are struggling and can't see their way through. Be patient to those who offend you Ask God to forgive them, for they know not what they do. Some children will judge others because of their weaknesses. Let this not be done by you but you display your gentleness. Show goodness to those who are in need. Always be available to do a good deed. Have great faith believe in the impossible. To those who believe, all things are possible. Your promotion may not be now but it will come later. Be meek and not prideful, esteem others greater. Be governed by temperance in all of your actions Know that you are loved and that you bring me great satisfaction. May the favor of God be upon you, my child, today. And may our Heavenly Father keep all evil away. Thank you Heavenly and Holy Father from above. For an opportunity to bless my child and give him much love.
