God does answer prayers
by Susan Darling

When we pray to God we must visualize a God who is keen to answer all our hearts desire that is good for us. Some prayers, we will thank God years later that He did say no. God is so much wiser than we are. Sometimes he does say yes, just to teach us a lesson, about being careful of what we prayed for, it may not be what we actually want in the long run. But most of the time we do get a yes. Maybe not exactly the way we asked for it but better, or maybe years later down the tract, when we have forgotten all about the time we prayed for it. It arrives at the right time, not a moment before. Before some prayers are fully answered, the scene has to be set first. For example how many times people have prayed to meet Mr. or Miss Right but are not quite mature enough in some ways to cope with marriage. God will answer that prayer when the time is right and the person has matured enough to take care of the blessing God sends to them. That's just an example. People will tell you from their experience that a delay is not a no from God. So keep up with your prayers. We don't say enough of them. We give up too easily. Fasting strengthens prayers. Jesus tells us to fast. The disciples couldn't one day free a person from a demon, and Jesus told them that they couldn't do it this time because they need to fast for this one. So if you really want something badly it would be a great idea to fast as well, with faith. Otherwise fasting will be useless. Make sure you are in good health if you want to fast. Jesus tells us not to give up but keep praying. If He says no it is because it has to be a no. He doesn't do it to disappoint us. So when we pray just think, he loves us more than anybody in the world. And we know our friends will give us what we want if they could, how much more will God. So God bless you and may your prayer be answered verysoon, or if it is not meant to be, may something better happen instead.
