Like an Eagle
by boatrocker Gilmore Like an eagle, it is time for me to take flight Soaring above the clouds reaching an all time height. Not being hindered by fears, doubts or unbelief Not allowing the enemy to rob my faith, like a thief. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Flying above the mountains, forests and the raging sea. Being filled with the power of God, I have this confidence. By staying in the will of God, I have his blessed assurance. Keeping my thoughts on things above and not beneath. Embracing the truth of God and not false beliefs. I am a Child of the most high God- my enemy is a defeated foe. Opposition causes me to only rise higher not drift to things below. Like an eagle, my life will be complete with honor at the end. And from an earthly plain to a Heavenly realm my spirit will continue to transcend.
