Flee from Sin but not God's Will
by boatrocker Gilmore

When the pressure of life is overwhelming and the weights are intensified.
This is the time for Jesus to arise in us and for God to be glorified.

For our Jesus was obedient even unto the death of the cross.
Our God sent him to pay a heavy price for souls that were lost.

Our God today is still sending his children to do his Holy Will.
Some will travel this course until the journey takes them uphill.

This is not the time to flee from doing God's Will but to press on.
Even though you feel like quitting and passing his Will like a baton.

It is God's instructions that we must flee from committing sin
But if we also flee from doing his Will, we won't endure until the end.

For it is only in his Will that his provisions and promises are granted unto us.
It may require some attitudes and behaviors that we must adjust.

Let us trust our God in his plan for our lives and be content.
Let us continue to flee from sin but stand in his Will like cement.

Prayer: Lord forgive me for fearing and despising your will for my life. Let me be as Jesus and lay down my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
