Floating In Your Arms
by Stacey LaMontagne I float along the river. My body drifts and relaxes. Your glory presses in around me. The fragrance is cleansing and refreshing as spring water. My inner thirst is quenched. Weights are lifted as I am lighter that the pain. Peace overwhelms me as I feel your arms beneath me. You arms carry me along this river of your love. I breath in fresh clean air and sink into your embrace. You are here. The waters rush around me but I am still. A gentle breeze cools and carries a message of strength. Pass this on. Bring them to the river for their healing too. Shine for me, my little star. My light is in you. Shine for me. My heart leaps and rejoices at my calling. Knowing you are always here helps me go on.
