CANADIAN WOODS poem
by Richard L. Provencher Canadian Woods The horizon is a slash of colour as ladder steps crawling one above another dusk grinning at the end of another day. Gone are logger-assaults and front-end loaders tormenting an expanse of primal timber where burnished pines act as sentinels along ridges of tundra, wilderness, a domain of ancient sunsets reddened sky turning from yellowish tinge to evening's dim. And from our canoe faces pause in complete awe. Richard L. Provencher 2008 Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
