STANDING AROUND poem
by Richard L. Provencher Standing Around From their earthly dominion cows stretch necks, tongues to a ravine with water others watch a few muddy feet away. Guernsey's in brown and white colours lessons for mankind. The day is an exercise in non-violence. Disturbed from squatting rest, two ducks flutter across the pond cows stare at departing wings. Richard L. Provencher 2005 Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel.
