Forever Love
by mary wolf

A touch so gentle, a look so tenderly given.
To know the love that hides within A heart so pure,
Is comparable only to the giver.

One has said that true beauty comes from within
You my love, are more portrait than I can look upon.
Yet, my eyes never want to leave your face.

Our hands touch, my heart races.
How I long to embrace this moment perpetually.
A thousand words are spoken, yet no sound is made.
Our spirits soar, our thoughts are one.

Time is a fantasy for we loose all track of continuance.
An hour, a day, a month, a year.
All are but a fleeting moment.

The time I spend with you seems to go on forever
For the moment you enter my presence, life stands still.
We breathe as one. United we are one being.

Your penetrating devotion leaves nothing
To be desired and your companionship
Fulfills the thirst within me.

Hearing you laughter lightens my spirit,
To an apex known by few.
Come fly with me upon the mountain.

Run through the meadow of promises
Into the world of life long covenant
That we may share, forever our love.

A temporal world can not hold us.
For this kind of love will go beyond the bounds.
To be eternal, even in another world.
