Bless the Lord: A Reflection on Psalm 103

His blessings outnumber the stars of the heavens; His love plunges lower than the oceans depths; His forgiveness surpasses my worst transgression; His grace heals me of my disease of iniquity. Bless the Lord, O my soul! His holy blood redeemed me from my sinful plight; With mercy and grace, He crowned me as His child; Though I stumble in my efforts, He renews my strength; His faithfulness spans all generations and reaches me. Bless the Lord, O my soul! He suffers long with this foolish child, And does not give me my just reward; He removes my sins to immeasurable lengths, And never forgets my fragile frame of dust. Bless the Lord, O my soul! My days on earth shall fade like the flower of summer; But His love endures from everlasting to everlasting; I see Him sovereignly ruling from his lofty throne" My Savior, my Father, my King, my God.
