The Cave
by Cindy Posey Captive, I sit all alone in this cave, Watched by guards and held by these chains so tight. I cry out for help that someone would save Me from this, my deserved plight. Captive, I sit all alone in this cave With no guards and no chains. I have been freed, But I do not dare leave, so I still stay Bound, not by chains, but by my disbelief. By faith I stand. I lose the chains of doubt As I head toward the freedom of the Sun. Light welcomes me as I walk freely out To bask in the grace of what has been done. Delivered, I walk away from my grave Master of doubt and disbelief"my cave. Cindy Posey Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
