As You spoke
The earth into being,
There I was,
A thought in Your heart.

Great splendor of Heaven
With brilliance of stars,
Created for me,
The object of Your Love.

Preparing the way,
You sent Your Son,
To bear the burdens
Born by me.

But Passion burned
There on that tree,
From Love in Your heart
For me.
