Who's Driving?
by boatrocker Gilmore

A driver is needed who will drive the family to high aspirations.
Who the driver is determines the family's final destination.

The driver shouldn't be someone who has no goals.
It shouldn't be someone with little or no self- control.

The driver should be a person of integrity and of great purpose.
He should be someone who will acknowledge God and stay focus.

God has ordained every family to have a driver just like an automobile.
There is only room for one set of hands on the stirring wheel.

The husband has been chosen by God to be the family's head.
Many are relying on popular opinions to guide their families instead.

God's way will always lead to success and victory.
Other ways leads to stagnation and misery.

Let God's word rule and let go of traditions that cause rivalry and strife.
Let the godly husband be the driver and not the godly wife.

Like in a car, all must submit to whoever is in the driver's seat
If a struggle occurs over the wheel the entire family will suffer defeat.

Everyone wants to be part of a family that's loving, joyful and thriving.
But we must all ask the question, in my family, who's driving?

Prayer: Father in Heaven, lead our family through this life with the word being our map. Keep us in your divine order so your blessings will be upon our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
