A Precious Moment
by Diana Isham My son, when you were but a child You knelt with me and prayed. The Holy Spirit was so strong That we marveled as he stayed. We talked in quiet whispers About Jesus' love for you And felt our own love grow inside With the Saviors love so true. This was a precious moment That I never will forget And I pray that you'll remember Ere the final sun doth set. Oh please, my precious firstborn son I pray that you will try To recall that wondrous moment When we felt Him, Youand I ~~Love Forever, Your Mother~~ Dear Friend, If you are desirous of reprinting this poem I would like to make a special request of you... I would be tremendously appreciative if you would you please take the time to let me know where and what posting or publication you will be posting or publishing it in. May God bless you with a wonderful day! I am a lover of good literature and music and am a writer of such (or at least I try to be). Among other things, I love to read and write poetry. I love people, and hope through my writings and otherwise, to be an influence for good in the lives of those whom I meet and come in contact with. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
