From Whence Love Rises
by Diana Isham

The love we feel in childhood
So perfect and Supernal
Is put there by our Father
Whose blessings are Eternal

It fills our trusting little hearts
With boundless, tender reachings
That go beyond all worldly ties
And saves us from false teachings

But only if we recognize
The Source from whence love rises
Before the lustings of this world
Deceive with compromises.

'Tis from This Well of childhood Love
That we must surely draw
If we truly want within our hearts
To know God's perfect Law!

Dear Friend,

If you are desirous of reprinting this poem I would like to make a special request of you...

I would be tremendously appreciative if you
would you please take the time to let me know where and what posting or publication you will be posting or publishing it in.

May God bless you with a wonderful day!

I am a lover of good literature and music and am a writer of such (or at least I try to be).

Among other things, I love to read and write poetry.

I love people, and hope through my writings and otherwise, to be an influence for good in the lives of those whom I meet and come in contact with.
