Judge Not
by boatrocker Gilmore

Judge not, that ye be not judged is written in God's Holy Word.
Although it is written, judging others is commonly preferred.

Jesus clearly states, let those without sin cast the first stone
If stones are thrown, love and compassion for others are gone.

We should be merciful that we may receive mercy.
This should be real in a believers' life not a fantasy.

The world cannot comprehend mercy because it rejects Jesus.
Through Jesus, believers understand that mercy was given to all of us.

Mercy will lead us to intercede and not judge our sisters and brothers.
Judging is speaking condemnation to you and others.

We as believers are members of Jesus' Body.
How we treat one member affects everybody.

How long will God continue to tolerate attacks against his Holy Son?
Will he not judge us for judging others and the pain we have sown ?

From this day forward, let us treat others the way we want to be treated.
Let us encourage others to do what is right and not cause them to feel defeated.
