What Becomes Of What I Own?
by David Pekrul Now, what becomes of all the things I own? My house, my cars and money in the bank, And what about the things I have on loan? I'm coming up with nothing but a blank. My life is passing right before my eyes, And one day I will meet eternity, I'll see my friends and say my last goodbyes, As for my future, what will be will be. But what about the things that I now own? I laboured hard to get the things I need, I worked my fingers right down to the bone, Now, what have I accomplished with my greed? The things I have down here will disappear, The day I enter God's celestial sphere. www.myhiddenvoice.com The poetry of David Ronald Bruce Pekrul If this article is used in any publication, please send a copy of the publication to David Pekrul at 170 Carr Cres.
