A God-Centered Home
by Jessica Gerald

Dear Father,

We dedicate our home as something holy to you. (Leviticus 27:14)

May your intimate friendship bless our house. (Job 29:4)

We invite you to build our house so it won't be built in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

Help me to be a wise wife and mother who builds my home. Don't let me be foolish and tear it down with my own hands. (Proverbs 14:1)

By wisdom may our house be built, and through understanding may it be established. Through knowledge, let its rooms be filled with rare and beautiful treasures. (Proverbs 24:3,4)

Help us to love you, Lord, with all our heart, soul, and strength. Cause your commandments to be on our hearts, and enable us to impress them on our children and grandchildren. (Deuteronomy 6:5-7)

May we all - husbands, wives, and children - stand before you. (2 Chronicles 20:13)

In the name of Jesus we pray,
Amen
