Jesus Obedience
by Diana Isham Jesus is my Savior true Who did what Father told him to! He learned his mission line on line As taught by Father so divine! At twelve he taught the lear-ned men Because he knew his mission then. We are not told much more from there About his life in Josephs care... Except that he was taught the trade Of carpentry as Joseph bade. Until at thirty he began To teach our Heavenly Father's plan. He always did exactly right Obeying Father day and night! He then called his disciples out Who followed him without a doubt. The Spirit told them who he was Because he followed Father's laws! So this is why he came to be Baptized of John, by God's decree. Then later on he suffered for Our sins, and bled from every pore! He let the soldiers take him then Although they were such wicked men! And nail him to a cross of wood. Between two thieves who were not good! His mission now, was near fulfilled... They pierced his side, his blood was spilled! His heart was broken so he died Because of wicked men's great pride! His Spirit left his body's reach Then went to Paradise to teach. But in three days he rose again The tomb just could not keep him in! He rose perfected from death's gloom It simply could not be his doom! So now because his life was given We can repent and be forgiven! By going in baptisms water When we promise to obey the Father! Baptism is the symbol of What Jesus did out of his love! At first we live, and then we die Then rise like Jesus by and by. And if we've lived in wickedness We'll rise alone, in utter sadness! But if we've lived obediently... We'll live with God eternally! I am a lover of good literature and music and am a writer of such (or at least I try to be). Among other things, I love to read and write poetry. I love people, and hope through my writings and otherwise, to be an influence for good in the lives of those whom I meet and come in contact with.
