Joy Comes In The Morning
by Anna Wood

When you are going through tough times, remember a few things

...even when you can't see it, there is a purpose in your suffering

...God is not capricious but is trustworthy

...God also knows what it is like to suffer

...weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning

...nothing is forever...not even your pain

...God uses suffering to purify and strengthen us

...Proverbs records that if we faint in the day of adversity, our strength is small

....God is good, always, even when our circumstances try to convince us otherwise

...God will not put more on us than we can bear

...when God puts His servants in the fire, He enters into it with them

...God was rejected, we will be rejected if we follow Him

...God knows what it is like to be lied about, lose a Son, be rejected, be betrayed and can thus relate to you

...the valley that you find yourself in may just one day be the avenue of deliverance for another

...God loves you enough to allow you to be disciplined, suffer the consequences of mistakes that you make, and to sometimes punish you

...we should not always seek deliverance through another's hand but say to God, "I will be in this trial as long as You wish for me to be" because frequently it is by hitting rock bottom in someway that we bounce back, become better and do right

...God's greatest desire is not for us to be happy but for us to be holy

...true happiness flows out of a relationship with Jesus Christ

...obedience to Jesus leads to holiness, which leads to the only true happiness that there is
