THOUGHTS ON PRAYER
by Verna Mull It's easy to pray when times are tough, Things are really affecting me; But just how sincerely do I pray, When others have needs that I see? Is there really love for my neighbor, Praying, 'till the answer comes through? Is my heart prepared to seek the Christ, When the request is something for you? Am I thankful when the answer comes, Or take Gods great gift and go on? Lord, help me to rejoice and tell others, Or, is the opportunity gone? Remind me Lord, when there is a need, Place in my heart, a deep care! Cleanse my heart; help me carry the load, Knowing that You are always there.
