MAGNIFICENT GIFTS poem
by Richard L. Provencher

Magnificent Gifts

join the pause of early
morning, flowers blossoming in
a pot-pourri
of accolades, wind shuffling

Poplar limbs in shivering
praise, their tinkling
decibels of calm across
the charm of sky.

Sparrows strut within the
farm, sheep watchful, crouching
and patient

for their keeper of the pens
needing arousal from his
night of restless sleep.
