HOW SERIOUS ARE YOU ABOUT THE THINGS OF GOD?
by tolulope Oluokun What you get out of this Christian race depends on your seriousness to the things of God. I observed, that among things, the reason many fail in school or in what they do is greatly determined by a lack of high level of seriousness and dedication to their career. You cannot take or do a thing shabbily and expect to have an excellent outcome. I often say that, you cannot live anyhow and end great .if you live anyhow; you will most likely end anyhow. In Jeremiah 29:13, God says, "You will find me when you search for me with your heart". Therefore, we cannot find God and grow without a genuine and serious search for Him. How do you take church services, bible studies, prayer meetings, and devotion times? What is your level of dedication to the things of God? The attitude we put into His things will greatly affect the outcome for you. If you have gone to church and you did not get much from it, you had better check yourself first before criticizing the pastor and the church. Were you attentive? What was the state of your heart?
