Pure in Heart

We must let go of our "heart of stone" commit to living for him! fill our Heart and Mind with compassion. Is our faith firm, unadulterated? do we live complete, are we willing to do whatever it takes to obey God? are we committed to keep the new heart God has given us alive? We have been refined by, gracious hands. Those who are pure in heart are, promised the sight of God. ( Matt 5:8 )

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalms 51:10

We need to empty our heart of self and bits and pieces from our past, holding on will hinder the wholeness Our Lord yearns for us to have. What if I am not completely sure of what Jesus will put in that empty place? will I be anxious about emptying it? It is scary giving up ... That emptiness in our heart we once felt, will be filled unconditionally, be not afraid that anxious and scary feeling will be filled. We may be saying it is scary giving up sense of safety and the circumstances that I have built to insulate my life and fill my heart. If I desire too honestly and truly serve Him, I need to trust that He will keep His promises. I will become a better servant, looking more like Him, directing others to Him through my actions and words

Pure motives and a wholesome heart are of utmost importance if we are to live the life set for us. For those who are pure in heart, going to be with God is a passion, for they have sought to live with Him everyday. It is simply the completion of an ongoing passion to keep their hearts close to the Father's home. Help me think thoughts on what is true, honorable and right in your sight guide my mind, keep my heart and move my body! Transform my soul with in your ways my Lord.

Purity is not innocence it is much more. Purity is the outcome of unending spiritual empathy with God. We have to grow in purity, spending some serious time with your head and heart in Scripture every week. Create in me your truth and your ways.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you, your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

My passion is to be an encourager,
giving words of inspiration and joy
to all who read my writings.

I recieve Joy in the giving.
