When All Else Fails!
by Jounda LaMance When All Else Fails! Isaiah 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever. In a chaotic world where promises are broken, isnt it wonderful to know that we serve a God who keeps His word? We make promises and sometimes we break promises sometimes our word is tarnished and handshakes no longer have the same meaning. There are times when we fail miserably, and hurt those we love. Perhaps we didnt intend too, but things just happened. We build dynasties and create futures for ourselves, but everything will someday pass away! Our houses and our cars, our degrees and our careers, our fortunes and 401Ks will someday have no value! What is today may not be tomorrow! History has proven over and over again how quickly the value of a dollar can fall through the floor in a snap of a finger. Regardless of what happens around us today, there is one thing we can be certain of THE WORD OF GOD WILL STAND FOREVER! He is faithful! Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reaches unto the clouds. (Psalms 36:5) Where is your hope? Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. (Psalms 31:24) Behold the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. (Psalms 33:18) Where is your hope? What do you put your trust in? O Lord Jehovah, we are so thankful that You are faithful! When everything around us falls apart, you do not change! You remain steadfast and you never fail! Thank you for being constant! Thank you for not giving up on us when we are not so trustworthy! Thank you Lord for not giving up on us when we put our hope in the things of this world rather than in You! Thank You for your faithfulness! We love You!
