Little fritzes, sputters and short circuits Sparking, flashing and smoking And generally full of static questions My cerebrum, its occasional times Of rare revelations grasped, And burning, yet undisciplined creativity A special gift from You. Holy Spirit, I pray You'd remake and mold me The mind of Christ within Beautifully dominant Yet the brush stroke of beauty You used To make me uniquely me Still evident with a fresh touch from My Jesus' hand. Gone, the stubborn, unyielding, willful me Leaving to bloom in the beauty of Jesus This peculiar person, And all You intended "me" to be.
