Benefits of Wisdom
by Jessica Gerald Dear Father, We thank you for providing wisdom to those who will listen. We ask that you will open our eyes and hearts to attain wisdom and discipline in our lives, and understand your words of insight. May we acquire a disciplined and prudent life, and always do what is right and just and fair. Give us prudence, knowledge, and discretion. Even in areas where we may be somewhat wise, help us to still listen and add to our learning. May we be discerning and get guidance. Enable us to understand your proverbs and parables. Remind us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Don't let us ever be fools who despise wisdom and discipline.
