2007 the year of Completion
by Fenny West As I look to 2007 I think of seven- Your number of completion , a sign of divine perfection I look forward with hope Because I have a God of Hope I thank You that there shall be great strides And great beginnings in this year And there shall be a completion Of much that have lingered And that have been hindered Because greater are You in me than he that is in the world. I am reminded that on the seventh You rested from all your work I look forward to rest on every side I put my hands into your hands As you lead me by your Spirit Into my promised land. Disband very wicked band By your mighty power Let me find your grace In every dark hour. In your sufficiency I am sufficient I draw strength from your strength I draw wisdom from your infinite wisdom To go from strength to strength From faith to faith and from glory to glory. I trust You to make every barrier A stepping stone to breakthrough Every valley shall be raised Every crooked path shall be made straight Not by my might nor by my power But by the Most High who above all towers I count on Your presence as my present This New Year and your face as my light. By the end of this year, Glorious things will be spoken of You. I call those things which be not As though they were, all because of You My Shelter, my Shield, my Helper My Source, my Strength, my Song My Owner, my Lover, my God.
