Warfare Prayer
by Marijo Phelps

2Cor10:3-5 amplified

For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons (weapons of flesh and blood), but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, (in as much as we) refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the (true) knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (New King James Version)
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

Remembering:

The BLOOD of CHRIST is THE weapon of our warfare most powerful in all eternity.

1John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.(NKJV)

2 Corinthians 12:9a
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." (NKJV)

ACTION: Ask Him to give you a person to pray for.

Ask Him what strongholds to focus upon in that person (to tear down as the Word promises and allow that person to be set free).

Then pray the scripture out loud personalized with that person's name and strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (New King James Version)
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (insert person's name here/list specific strongholds), 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (in person's name), bringing every thought(in-person's name mind) into captivity to the obedience of Christ

EXAMPLE:

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (I TEAR DOWN THE STRONGHOLD OF UNBELIEF IN SUZY), 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (IN SUZY), bringing every thought(IN SUZY'S MIND) into captivity to the obedience of Christ

PRAISE and THANK Jesus for what He is doing in that person's life (though we might not yet see it)

2 Thessalonians 3:13
But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good. (NKJV)

Persevere in prayer and see the power of the Lord in lives of your loved ones.
