Holy Spirit of God and Your Success
by sesan oguntade Holy Spirit of God is popularly referred to as the Third Person in Trinity. He is God's third way of relating with man on this earth since creation. His very first way was pre-Jesus days when God had dealings with the prophets and other men by talking to them directly or by sending angels to them. The second way was the Jesus era, when God took a decision to put on man's flesh and dwell with man. The third way was post Jesus era when God sent His Spirit to dwell in man (Act 2:1-17). "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit says the LORD of hosts" (Zechariah 4:6b) KJ2000. God knew ordinary man cannot be a success on earth so He took a decision to come into man to make man live a very successful life on earth (see Bible passage quoted above). Just like I have shared earlier on, it was God's sovereign decision. It was His FREE GIFT to us! Unlimited Instructions for Your Success I am sure you know that the most important factor for a student's success in school is his or her ability to obey instructions. There are instructions in the school's rules and regulations, examinations and activities in the school environment that students must receive, understand and act upon if they dream of successfully passing through any school's system. Instructions are also very necessary for your business success or even your success as an employee in an organization. Now, we are God's employees on this earth (Genesis 2:15). If we must be successful, then God must provide instructions which we must follow. I am happy to let you know that God has decided to bring His Spirit into us (Christians) so that we can always receive these instructions. Jesus clears the air on this great function of the Holy Spirit in the book of John 14:26 "But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things (success secrets)" (Emphasis mine) (KJ2000). " that is the Spirit will show man how to handle the affairs of life from the pages of the scripture.
