Our God "Rains"

The light patter of rain lightly touched my bedroom window, and as I was listening to a song, "Our God Reigns" came across the radio waves. Smiling, I suddenly thought "Our God Rains". The play on words makes me think of rainy days in a new way. Just like rain washes away the dirt and dust of a dry day and refreshes the earth, it reminds me how God washes away my sins and refreshes me when I spend time with Him in prayer.

Do you have the rain of the world in your life right now? I encourage you to come to Jesus and seek the refreshing rain that He offers. Rain that washes away your discouragement, your fears and your sins. Listening to teachers of prophecy, the signs are showing that the world's time is coming to a close quickly now. Jesus Christ is waiting for you and wants to comfort and help you through these troubled times. If you pray the following prayer, God's refreshing "rain" will wash over you. All you have to do is open your heart and trust He will never let you down!

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me. I believe that Jesus died for me on the cross and that He arose from the grave so that I can live with Him in Heaven someday. I am now trusting Jesus as my Savior. Thank you for loving me and saving me. Amen.

John 10:28-29 "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one."

Psalm 51:7 "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow."
