Listen to the quiet,
not a sound is in the air.
It's just me and Jesus talking,
about things that we can share.
We share a moment here and there,
throughout the whole day long.
I praise my Lord and Saviour,
with words of prayer and song.
I thank Him for my salvation,
each and every day.
I thank Him for meeting all my needs,
and molding me with His clay.
For He is the Potter, I am His child,
and I would have it no other way.
At the moments when we share a thought,
He reminds me of my need to pray.
It is always in the quiet,
of a moment so serene.
That I hear my Lord and Saviour,
saying on Him I need to lean.
