My heart is overwhelmed,
When I remember your prayers,
When I remember your praise,
When I remember your worship

My heart is overflowing;
God's grace is growing:
The tear I shed for you now,
Comes from deep within my heart

Why did you have to walk away?
Why did you have to give up grace?
I stand here and patiently pray,
And wait and wait and wait

My heart is overflowing;
God's grace is growing:
The tear I shed for you now,
Comes from deep within my heart

I do all I can to hold the tears back,
When I remember your faith,
When I remember your hope,
When I remember your love

My heart is overflowing;
God's grace is growing:
The tear I shed for you now,
Comes from deep within my heart

Suddenly the memories well up inside;
Tears flow like the mighty River of Life--
I fall on my knees and intercede in prayer:
The Holy Spirit speaks with love and care

My heart is overflowing;
God's grace is growing:
The tears I shed for you now,
Comes from deep within my heart

I pray you cannot hold the tears back,
When you remember your faith,
When you remember your hope,
When you remember your first love

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
