A Messy Process
by boatrocker Gilmore
10/26/2009 / Christian Living
Raising an obedient child is like making the perfect cake.
If the directions are followed, there will be few mistakes.
In both cases the process is not pretty but is a mess.
No one would think that the final outcome would be blessed.
There are similarities even when all the ingredients are put together.
A stirring must occur-one with a blender - the other with leather.
Yes, the making of a child to an adult can be painful at times.
But unrestrained actions could lead a child to many crimes.
An Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
A little discomfort now will yield a pleasant future.
Indeed, the joy that an obedient child brings is worth the process.
And like a cake, you can make it and then enjoy your success.
