METAMORPHOSIS

My old spiritual man leaped from one precarious
cliff to another; entangled in a web of pure black-
ness; searching for a nebulous utopia....elusive as
a dancing mirage. I wandered, intoxicated with
dregs of fear/uncertainty; propelled by a
shadowy presence, engulfed by a hedonistic allure.

Through this confusing maze I emerged, broken,
disinchanted, disconnected/disillusioned. Before
me lay the proverbial fork....beckoning.

Pondering my course, shifting/stumbling through
layers of thick, black cloud, I suddenly saw the Light;
radiant and irresistible, brilliant and pristine;
dazzling like a thousand precious jewels, drawing me
irrevocably into His glorious presence.

A voice like many waters spoke to my inner being,
"I am the Way the Truth and the LIfe, no man comes
to the Father but by Me." That voice, yes, that
glorious/majestic voice resonated/yes/exploded
within my emaciated soul, bringing resurrection/
rejuvenation/revelation/supernatural renewal.

THE VOICE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST!
