Prosperity from Austerity

Prosperity from Austerity
Out of Austerity Prosperity can come
I know God can make a way for the righteous
However, we all have to seek first His Kingdom
And He will cause his face to shine, our barns plenteous.

Great grace awaits those who put Him First in business
They will rise and bring forth water out of a rock
Wilderness and barrenness will turn to fruitfulness
They will laugh at situations that now mock.

It is God who owns the whole earth in all its fullness
In His economy there's no boom and bust
He can work miracles in any dryness
For those who look to him, obey and trust.
.
Ec:11:1: Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
Ec:11:4: He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
Ec:11:5: As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Ec:11:6: In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Ge:26:1: And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
Ge:26:2: And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
Ge:26:3: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
Ge:26:4: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Ge:26:5: Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Ge:26:6: And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

Ge:26:12: Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
Ge:26:13: And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
Ge:26:14: For he had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Ge:26:16: And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.
Ge:26:22: And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

M't:6:19: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
M't:6:20: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
M't:6:21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Proverb:3:9: Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
Proverb:3:10: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Lu:6:38: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Ex:11:7: But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

Nu:20:8: Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
Nu:20:10: And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
Nu:20:11: And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.
De:8:15: Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
De:32:13: He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
Ex:17:6: Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
Ex:33:21: And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
1Ki:17:8: And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
1Ki:17:9: Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
1Ki:17:10: So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
1Ki:17:11: And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
1Ki:17:12: And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
1Ki:17:13: And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
1Ki:17:14: For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
1Ki:17:15: And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
1Ki:17:16: And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Ps23

Lord, I thank You for Your word which is settled in heaven. Heaven and earth shall pass away but Your word shall not pass away. You are not a man that you should lie, neither the son of man that you should repent. Your word is true. It can be relied on.

I hold on to it and pray it back to you. Lord, make a difference between your people and the world according to Your word.

Cause Your people to obey you in their finances and see Your blessing come and overtake them according to your word. For those who have obeyed You and still suffering financial hardships. Grant them the grace to persevere and understand the seasons of life, assured that in due time their time will come and that You have not forgotten them.
Lord., as we tithe and give offering according to Your word, rebuke he devourer on our behalf. Show us things to do that we may prosper in Jesus name. You said '
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.'
For those who have opened the door for the devourer, open their eyes to see the door they have opened and show them the way back- repentance and obedience, in Jesus' name.

Show us fertile land to invest in to extend your kingdom. Teach us to praise You even in the little mercies we see, in the protection you give, peace you provide, health you give which money cannot buy.
We pray that our investment will yield a great return to your glory and your praise. May we treasure godliness and our relationship with you above every form of gain, in Jesus' name.
