Endless Love

Years ago, I met a great man
He is the love of my life
Surely he swept me off my feet
Yes! I knew him not at first
Patiently and quietly he watched me closely
Waiting for me to come to Him
He loved me wholly, even then
Wretched and aimless as I was
He still loved me.

He shows me how to love
He is Love epitomized
He tells me to be best that I can
He says with Him I can do all things
He is the Truth and the Light
The Alpha and Omega
He is wonderful!

When he touched me, I felt passion
I felt excitement and fulfillment
I felt redemption at its best
I understood the meaning of love
His touch changed me for good
He is awesome!

He shows me the way to live
Nothing has remained same
Now a melody sings in my heart
There is joy unimagined
Peace reigns forever!

With his strong arms around me
My head finds rest on his bosom
Drowned in His steady heart beats
Words of love He whispers into my ears
My heart cannot help but melt
I realize how much I want to please Him
To live only for Him!

I shudder at the magnitude of his presence
Constantly He watches over me
Persistently He says to me
'I love you enough to shed my blood
I will never leave you nor forsake you
I will provide all your needs
Your tears I will wipe away
Your battles shall be mine'
He is so great!

I mean more than the world to Him
And I am partaker of all His inheritance
Can you imagine? I lack nothing!
The earth is His and the fullness thereof
He is so rich and abundantly so!
Nothing can separate us, He keeps telling me
And I believe Him because He will never lie.

I love Him so much and He knows it
Yes! He is my everything
The very essence of my life
Nonetheless, He is so jealous
He hates when I am distracted from Him
Yet His love He freely gives to all
But I love Him all the same
I am so helpless without Him.

He loves obedience and total submission
That way I seek his face and compassion
I cannot help but feel the obssession!
Daily I kneel before Him urging to be used
I ask Him to melt me and remold me
With pleasure He fills me with His power
That I may conform to His perfect will.

I am so thrilled and amazed!
The more I think I know Him
The more he reveals more of His clout
His love and mercy never cease
His leading hands never let go
I will give you more than you can ever ask
He keeps saying
He is so kind and so gentle

At his feet I sing love songs as I worship Him
How He loves to hear my voice
You are awesome my King
Be thou magnified oh Lord
You are brighter than the morning star
More beautiful than all the lilies
More precious than gold
You are highly lifted up
I love you Jesus
My endless Love!
There is no one like you! Huh?
