Blood upon His brow,
Flows as fragrance fair,
Sweet savor to His Father,
On the Cross alone to bear.
Death begats Life,
As the Rose fades from Earth,
And blooms once again,
In my soul's rebirth.
I rise to His promise,
My spirit no more barren,
For within holds His love,
My Beloved Rose of Sharon.
