The Ten Commandments

You shall have no other gods before Me
If your heart is divided I am able to see

You shall not make yourself an idol in heaven
Not the stars, moon or sun is to be graven
On the earth beneath leave all under its sheath
In the waters below deity on them do not bestow

Bow not down to worship them
Your knees to me belong like an anthem
Remember Me as a jealous God
Who created you out of sod

I punish the children for the sins of the fathers
But spares those who for forgiveness bothers
To third and fourth generation judgement flow
Them who to worship idols did not go
But those who love Me and keep My command
Shown love thousand generations and beyond

Misuse not the name of the Lord your God
Even if in exchange for gold

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
No working then watching Volley
Six days labor doing all you work
Take care as you chase the extra buck

Honor your mother and your father
He being your Pa and not your brother
Long life I will give to you
As you respect them in all you do

You shall not murder
Holding the horn of the altar do not bother
The avenger will surely find you
Your life he will deny you

You shall not commit adultery
Even with a charged battery
Drink from your own cistern
To this advice please listen
For the wayward wife will steal your life
Cut you to pieces like a knife

You shall surely not steal
With every temptation apply your will

Give not false testimony against your neighbor
Sending him to jail with hard labor

Covet not your neighbor's property
With him keep joyous company
