LIFE AFTER DEATH

by sana edoja
6/21/2010 / Death

We shouldn't be scared to die. Neither should we be for our loved ones. The most
amazing thing is that any person can choose where they want to go: "heaven or
hell" before they die. Christ is the way to heaven.

Three years ago, my granny was still alive. She was the kindest person I ever met.
Always reachable on the phone to share the joys and struggles of my life. I was
also her favorite grand-child, having known me as a baby.

I used to buy her gifts whenever I was going to visit her. I never hesitated to travel
seven hours by train to come and stay with her for a few days. We used to have
little arguments when I was a teenager, then, we became the best friends as time
went on. She used to spoil me a lot as most grannies do.

The only problem was that each time I talked to her about the Lord, she used to tell
me that she knew that there was something. But what???? That was the question.
She used to say: "If we ever meet in heaven, we'll have a lot to say to each other".
However, I preached the Gospel of Jesus to her on numerous occasions. Sharing
my personal encounter with God. The Word says that if we confess with our mouth
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we
will be saved.

Because of my deep love for my granny, I cried before God for her salvation. I also
prayed for her with my church at one time. She was sick in hospital for a week. At
80 years old, you never know what tomorrow holds. It's better to contribute to their
eternal life after death.

This life on earth is only for a time. Life after death is forever and we need to make
sure that we will be in heaven with the Lord.
The prayer of a righteous man makes much avail. God answers the prayers of a
righteous man. He wants to save us from our sins .
Three years ago, she died after falling into a sudden coma. I wasn't able to be at
her bedside as she lived in France. I was living in London. You wouldn't imagine
the kind of inner peace I had in my soul. I didn't cry. I wasn't even upset as I knew
that God has answered my prayer and had fulfilled his wonderful Word. She was
finally in heaven with God Almighty .
I just want to encourage you to keep on praying and believing for the salvation of
your loved ones. God can send his angels and people you will never meet to save
your family. As long as you believe.

To conclude, I just want to say that we can all make a difference in the lives of our
loved ones. Instead of being worried, thinking "Am I going to see them again? Are
they safe? They are on the point of dying." We have to make sure by our prayers
and preaching to them the Gospel of Jesus that they can have eternal life. When
they die, we won't have to worry about them being OK. We can know in our heart
that they have made their peace with God, enjoying the blessings of Heaven. It's
just a matter of time before we join them.
God bless you all and keep up the good works.
