This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent.
2 Kings 7:9
Sharing helpful and encouraging information,
We are doing what we could do to share, assist,
In giving others, less fortunate, to get a better deal,
And in that we delight and enjoy.
The four starving lepers, in quarantine outside Jerusalem,
Discovered the Syrian camp empty of men, but full of provisions.
After having their fill, they felt guilty and shared the good news,
Which made them happy as the hungry Jerusalem ate.
Jesus commanded us to tell others the good news,
He said He will hold us accountable for our obedience,
And though we tell the good news out of obligation,
We'll discover the joy of sharing the Gospel out of a heart of love.
Sharing helpful and encouraging information,
May give a lifeline to the terminal ill,
A second chance to a better life,
A lead which will make others to know more about Jesus Christ.
