Somewhere upstairs
There's a boy with a bear
And a night-light burning bright!
Somewhere upstairs
There's a heaven for bears and bull-frogs and fireflies

Somewhere upstairs
There's a Mom and a Dad
And a baby sleeping tight!
Somewhere upstairs
There's a basket of cares
And worries out of sight!

Somewhere upstairs
A little boy's prayers
Dream a morning bold and bright
Lord, these are our nation's families
Bless them well, tonight!
